African Dance

African dance workshops led by Idrissa Camara.

Idrissa is Wales’ leading African dancer, choreographer and highly experienced workshop leader.

From the age of 11, Idrissa studied with Ballet Basikolo, Guinea’s national African dance academy.

Idrissa was founder, artistic director, composer, choreographer,  musician and dancer of Wales based Ballet Nimba for 15 years and plays these same roles in his new company Spirit of Nimba.

His workshops celebrated life and are open to all.

Zimbabwean Dance

Welcome home to the sweet meeting of body and earth. We come together as tribe in this welcoming workshop led by Denise Rowe.
