J9 (aka Judge Singh) is a well-seasoned showman who has performed on over 1000 stages with a variety of groups all over the UK and Europe including Glastonbury (12 times) and WOMAD (3 times) and hundreds of other renowned festivals and venues over the past 30 years. He has won the “Best Music Act” and “Special Contribution to Bhangra” at the Mast Magazine and National Bhangra Awards.
J9’s unique dance workshop incorporates an engaging and balanced mixture of gentle instruction and good fun that encourages people of all ages and from all cultures to participate in Bhangra dancing. It’s all very light-hearted, and in no time at all the entire crowd – from grandparents to grandkids and everyone in between – will be up and dancing and really enjoying themselves.
